About the event
Gather with your fellow South Loop Neighbors for an afternoon walk and park tour on our way to Weather Mark Tavern.
Meet at 3PM at Mary Jones Park. We will depart by 3:10PM heading South through Cotton Tail Park. A guided tour by author and historian Greg Borso will take place at Coliseum Park, Anderson Park, The Battle of Fort Dearborn Park, and Women’s Park with a special stop outside the Glessner House. The walking tour will conclude at Weather Mark Tavern where we will have a reserved table for folks who would like to order food/drinks and visit. Total distance approximately 1.5 miles and walk time of 35-45 min if a gentle stroll.
